On January 22, 2008 I began to make a drawing every morning and post its image online. I called this project Morning Drawing. Still in production, Morning Drawing contains over 1200 pieces. It is the love-child of Internet performance and traditional art practice- I do it because I’m interested in making art continuously, without waiting for a convenient time, or inspiration, or an exhibition. It contains works on paper from 3 inches to 3 feet tall, and is the laboratory in which most of my other projects have their beginnings.
Morning Drawing has been shown in the US and abroad in numerous group and solo exhibitions. It is the home I carry on my back.
